Dr. Boadu, along with 26 others, received the Grand Medal (Silver), an award often given to members of the Ghana Armed Forces and public service personnel for faithful and loyal service to the Republic.

Under Dr. Boadu’s exemplary leadership, GETFund played a pivotal role in providing critical support to the Ministry of Education for the successful implementation of the government’s flagship Free SHS Programme. These include the completion of 3,077 educational infrastructure projects across all levels of public education.

His tenure saw several innovative initiatives, including the institutionalization of a digitalized platform for managing contract awards, vetting payment certifications, and the real-time project monitoring. The scholarship section was transformed into a substantive unit with improved personnel, a standardized manual for scholarship management, and an end-to-end online platform for awarding scholarships.
