Dr. Edward Prince Darah, a member of both the Public Services Commission (PSC) and the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), presented on the Trustees’ duties in relation to policy development. He also stressed the importance of oversight responsibilities in ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and the promotion of prudent corporate governance practices.
Dr. Hod Anyigba, an economist and strategist affiliated with Innolead International and NiBS University, facilitated a session on strategic planning. He guided the Trustees on goal setting and the importance of effective communication with stakeholders to ensure the efficient use of Trust Fund resources, ultimately leading to improved educational outcomes.
The orientation workshop also provided Trustees the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarification on relevant matters, and build professional relationships with GETFund’s management and staff. The engagement created a platform for open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and alignment around the Fund’s strategic priorities.
