A delegation from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) recently embarked on a seven day mission to the United Kingdom, from the 21st to 30th of June, 2025. The four member delegation was led by the Deputy Administrator, Hon. Alhassan Sualihu Dandaawa, visited nine universities and engaged with approximately 60 Ghanaian students.
The purpose of this visit was to assess the academic and general well-being of Ghanaian students sponsored by GETFund as well as identifying any administrative challenges they may be facing. The delegation also engaged with students to ensure their continual support and welfare.

This initiative demonstrates GETFund’s commitment to nurturing Ghanaian talent abroad by providing financial assistance and support. This enables students to focus on their academic pursuits, ultimately contributing to Ghana’s development.
By investing in Ghanaian students’ educational pursuits, GETFund is contributing to the development of a skilled workforce that can drive positive change in Ghana and beyond. This initiative showcases the importance of educational support and its potential to shape the future of individuals and nations.

The success of this visit may lead to expanded partnerships between GETFund and UK universities, creating more opportunities for Ghanaian students to access quality education abroad.
